The RingSquared team was excited to recently bring 15 teens from the Oasis boys club to the New Jersey Devils game on December 6th vs the Chicago Blackhawks, part of our ongoing corporate giving to Oasis – A Haven for Women and Children.
RingSquared sponsored a suite at the game, providing the club with transportation and catered food. For many of the boys this was their first professional sports game, and everyone enjoyed cheering on the Devils to a 3-0 win over the Blackhawks!
About Oasis
Founded in 1997, Oasis is dedicated to helping women and children break the cycle of poverty. The teen program and other youth development programs are just one area of service for the organization; they also run many adult education, social services, and basic needs programs for the community, serving 1,000 women and children each day.
The boys club works with teenagers from local middle and high schools, focused on empowering them to become strong, independent, and thoughtful community members. Teen programs focus on college and career planning, academic goal setting, leadership and community service, arts, life skills, and physical fitness.
Other youth services offered by Oasis include an after-school academy, summer camp, and Saturday programs during the school year.
