Located in Paterson, NJ, Oasis – A Haven for Women and Children has been dedicated to changing the lives of women and children by breaking the cycle of poverty since its founding in 1997.
At their recently held 8th Annual Sporting Sporting Clays Classic at Hudson Farm in Andover, NJ, RingSquared supported Oasis as the beverage sponsor, cart sponsor, a clay station sponsor, and bag sponsor.
Oasis provides a wide range of programs to the community in addition to their soup kitchen and emergency support:
- Adult education including GED prep courses, English-as-a-Second Language courses, computer skills instruction, citizenship classes, a vocational trainer to help women successfully enter the workforce, and many Saturday programs
- Youth development including an after-school academy and Saturday program, summer camp, and teen empowerment network
- Social services including social workers on site, empowerment workshops, and community events
- Basic needs including grab-and-go meals and food bags, diapers and other baby items, and personal hygiene products
RingSquared’s Corporate Giving Programs
RingSquared’s donation to Oasis is part of our ongoing corporate giving program’s focus on giving back to those most in need. RingSquared’s corporate donations and sponsorships reflects our passion for helping others and building strong communities.
This donation from RingSquared is part of our dedication to women and children’s services, a central part of improving our communities. In the last year alone Oasis served 1,000 women and children daily for a total of 61,680 meals, sent 214 children to summer camp, and had 384 women attend classes.
RingSquared has been involved with Oasis for several years, donating and sponsoring their Annual Sporting Clays Classic fundraiser. The RingSquared team also brought the Oasis boys club for local middle school and high school teens to a New Jersey Devils game.
