Unlock & Reset User Accounts

Only business group administrators can reset and unlock users passwords. 

Unlock an Account

  1. Log into CommPortal as an administrator.
  2. Open the “All Lines” tab from the left. 
  3. Under the “Actions” drop-down menu on the right, select Unlock account or Reset line.

Reset Line

This will allow you to select a new account name for the line as well as optionally remove it from it’s existing groups. Reset line is a complete wipe of all voicemails, recordings, passwords, and all previous user settings.
