Unlock & Reset User Accounts
Only business group administrators can reset and unlock users passwords.
Unlock an Account
- Log into CommPortal as an administrator.
- Open the “All Lines” tab from the left.
- Under the “Actions” drop-down menu on the right, select Unlock account or Reset line.
Reset Line
This will allow you to select a new account name for the line as well as optionally remove it from it’s existing groups. Reset line is a complete wipe of all voicemails, recordings, passwords, and all previous user settings.
